Hooray for shout-outs! You got me thinking about Broadway musicals...I know you've seen way more than me, but I've seen Rent, Wicked, Miss Saigon, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, We Will Rock You, Billy Elliott, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, Sweeney Todd, Chicago (with Patrick Swayze which was wonderful because I just love him)...those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.
ReplyDeleteThe Chorus Line...I remembered that as soon as I hit "publish" :)
DeleteJesus Christ Superstar and Oklahoma! (with John Schneider from the Dukes of Hazzard - haha!)
DeleteOf the ones you listed, I haven't seen We Will Rock You, JC Superstar, OKLA, or A Chorus Line. The first musical I saw was Les Miserables in NYC, which I hated. The second was Annie Get Your Gun with Bernadette Peters and Tom Wopat (also from the Dukes - LOL!). The most recent one I've seen was Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage (Oh, my! The actor who played Johnny Castle was like the embodiment of Patrick Swayze!). I have tickets for Motown - The Musical in April and Cabaret in May. My top 4 all time favorites are The Lion King, Mamma Mia, Wicked, and Once. I am itching to see Get on Your Feet which is currently running in NYC (it's about Gloria Estefan).
Deletewow, that's a lot of kids! and i have the same area code, haha. at first i thought it said books i'd read in 2016 and i almost had a heart attack haha.
