Humpday Confessions (Vol. 3)

It's Wednesday and you know what that means..
It's time for Humpday Confessions!

Confession:  One of my all-time favorite Christmas songs is the John Denver version of The Twelve Days of Christmas that features The Muppets.

Confession: My favorite part of the song is when Beaker does the Nine Ladies Dancing part and it comes out as "meme meme meme!"

Confession: Last year I didn’t fill out my Christmas cards until December 26. The year before, it was on the Winter Solstice. As of today, I still haven’t done them and, given my track record, the odds of me getting them out before 2016 isn’t looking very promising. Perhaps I should look in to New Year’s cards...

Confession: My favorite "kid sitting on Santa’s lap" pictures are the ones where the kids are going crazy and/or the Santa has the “Good Lord, I need a drink…” look on his face.

My personal favorite (via Pinterest)
Confession:  If I had kids, I would totally stage the Elf on a Shelf in dark humor type situations like this:

Confession: I find it disturbing that my husband can accurately recite all the verses to the Redneck Twelve Days of Christmas.  LOL!

Have a wonderful holiday season!  Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I always love seeing the funny Santa pictures too. You can always tell it in his face that "I'm not getting paid enough for this" haha

  3. Haha I love how you put the santa hat on the camel! That first Santa would make me cry too, he looks so displeased to be doing that job.

    1. YAY! Someone noticed the camel's Santa hat! I figured after I did it that no one would notice. Thank you! You made my evening!

    1. I am seriously thinking New Year's cards may be the way to go. And, it would spread out the cheer so we don't have all our fun in December. LOL! Those Santa pics are great, aren't they?

    1. Yep, New Year's cards are looking more and more like a viable option. LOL! Yes, the Frozen scenario is my favorite, too.

  6. Christmas cards (since I've moved to Australia) is about the only thing I'm pretty diligent about. I guess I don't want people to forget me - haha!

    1. Once upon a time, I was on the money - I had my cards bought, signed, sealed, addressed, stamped and ready to go the first weekend in December. The older I get, the later and later they go out each year. I am seriously contemplating New Year's cards next year. LOL!
