the circulating life force whose existence and properties are the basis of much Chinese philosophy and medicine.
The only reason I know this alternate spelling of word chi is because it's one of the Q words I have committed to memory for when I play Words with Friends with my aunt.
There's nothing more frustrating than getting stuck with a Q without a U.
