  1. Ericka, you might recall I'm also a West Virginia gal from McDowell County. I hated hearing about the recent flooding my home state suffered. It brings back nightmares of the 1977 flood. I hope your family and friends back home were spared property damage. Your photo of the deer reminds me of some shots I've gotten in deer in the Smoky's. It's not easy to get them close up like this one. Good job! Happy #WW!

    1. McDowell County... I remember you mentioning that you were from WV, but I don't remember if you ever shared specifically where you are from. I am from Wyoming County! Yes, my family and friends were spared. Some friends from high school lost campers that they had at campgrounds up on the Greenbrier River, but to my knowledge, no one that i know lost homes.
