  2. That is a great list!! I loved The Nightingale so much. I can't believe I forgot about Winter Garden since that is one of my favorite books of all time. Glad to see another person who is a fan of Fredrik Backman! Great list! :)

    1. Thank you!

The only Backman book that I didn't really care for was My Grandmother Told Me to Tell You She's Sorry. There was just something about it that I didn't like.

I know! As I have "toured" other's pages today, I've seen books that I read but that I completely forgot! I've been like, " I can't believe I forgot about that one!"

    1. Thank you! I like Backman's works for the most part. I wasn't crazy about MY Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry, but I really like A Man Called Ove and Beartown. I am getting ready to read Britt-Marie was here. I am hoping I like it, too. Which one did you read?

  6. Oooh great choices! I actually haven't read any of these, but there are several I'd like to! Winter Garden sounds interesting- so does the Hundred Year Old Man one, I am curious about it! And I am kind of curious about Beartown, too- seems like a lot of people really love it!

    1. Thank you! The Hundred Year Old Man... is a fascinating book. It tells two stories - what happens to the man after he climbs out the window and his life story as told in flashbacks. The current action is set in Sweden and therefore some of the names of people, towns, and streets are difficult unless you are familiar with that language. But, overall, I so enjoyed it. It reminded me a little of the movie, Forrest Gump.

Oh, Beartown... It's a rollercoaster ride of emotions, but so worth it.

  7. Oow I always think it's hard to find books set in Europe and yet you've found loads! You don't see many set in Sweden... I will definitely be checking out some Fredrik Backman. Great List.

The Nightingale made our list too but I've yet to read it. Thank you for stopping by our blog!

  8. The US is a foreign country for me ;-)

I feel like I'm the only person who has never read anything by Frederik Backman!

One of my all-time favourite books is So Much to Tell You by John Marsden, which is set in Australia.

By the way, I nominated you for a challenge: https://confuzzledom.wordpress.com/2018/03/29/three-days-three-quotes-challenge-day-2/
Please feel free not to join in though.
