Out of all those super hero movies you list, I'll admit, Guardians of the Galaxy was the one I was most skeptical about, only to be pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Good soundtrack too.
ReplyDeleteOf the tv shows you list, I've seen an episode of all of those, but I've never watched a full season of any of them.
The rolling R's surprised me the most (because of the whole speech pathology thang.)
When I finally admitted defeat and accepted the fact that I would never be able to roll my Rs, it gave me an entirely new perspective on therapy. It put me in my students' shoes of being frustrated and disappointed despite my best effort. I think the overall experience made me a more compassionate, understanding, and better therapist.

ReplyDeleteI tried for 25 years and finally gave up. 5/6 of my cousins can do it, but I can't... I can't even come close! I blame it on the gene that also prevents me from being able to roll my Rs... LOL!

DeleteI think I've watched a single episode of Dancing with the Stars once; I don't remember why though haha. With you on the others! Also the zoo- I've never been to the two famous zoos in NYC even though I've lived 20 min away my whole life!
ReplyDeleteI think it's very common to not attend something or go to a place that is close to home because we overlook it and just take it for granted. I grew up about an hour away from some of the finest white water in West Virgina, but never went white water rafting until I was in my 30s. Have a good one!
