I've been participating in A to Z Blogging Challenge this entire month, so I've taken a hiatus from the former link up and the newly reincarnated link up.
Given my lengthy absence, I'm taking some liberty and am expanding my list to include things that made me happy this entire month.
Without further ado and in no particular order:
Spending time with my family over spring break.
Seeing Mamma Mia! with Mom and Si.
Fitting into a smaller size in jeans!

Riding ATVs with my uncle in my beloved Appalachian mountains back home.
A gift of Henry & David goodies that I received at work. The pears were absolutely de-lish...
That the problem that caused my check engine light to come on was an easy and inexpensive fix - spark plugs.
One of my students gave me a dozen farm fresh eggs. My husband used to make me a tasty omelette.
Watching my officemate's Vegas wedding streamed online.
Springtime in Kentucky. After a long, gray, dismissal winter, I do so enjoy all the bright greenness.
Phone conversations with a dear friend.
This touching segment that aired on CBS Sunday Morning this past Sunday about a young man's dream and his perseverance.
Completing the last of my Blogging A to Z Challenge entries on Wednesday night.

This sunrise:
Conversations with my walking buddies.
The unveiling of my thinner self. I still have not reached my goal, but I'm still making progress towards it. A year ago, I was 38 pounds heavier and would not have dared to wear anything sleeveless. Wearing this athletic tank has been a big step out of my comfort zone, but taking it has made me very happy.
I hope this finds you having a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend!
As always, thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteThank you! It's been a quite a journey so far.
DeleteYes, I think the picture is April's baby. I love his/her big ears!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well!
Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteCertain aspects of the month were definitely fun! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteSounds like there is a lot of happy around you and congrats on losing 38 pounds.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am more certainly a blessed gal!
DeleteI understand that wearing that tank is a personal accomplishment. I'm still not too comfortable wearing tanks. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI already love springtime for the blooms, the sun, the greenness...I can only imagine that if I lived where true winter happens that I'd love spring even more.
Congrats on finishing the A-Z challenge! I have so many comments to reply to that I dread doing it! 38lbs? That's awesome! And the tank looks awesome on you. How was Mama Mia? Was it better than the movie?
ReplyDeleteErica, it's so lovely to see you my dear. :)
ReplyDeleteI decided not to partake in the A to Z challenge the year as I thought it was too stressful/too much pressure last year. Perhaps next year, though.
Isn't all the greenery and buds coming out so beautiful after the looooooong winter? I'm definitely loving it as well.
Well done on the weight loss; that's fantastic and I hope you're so very proud of yourself. :)
I love farm fresh eggs. They're much tastier and I find the yolks are more orangey than they are yellow.
Have a lovely week my dear. xo
