Tuesday Topics - Nine Sports Stories: Baseball

If you are looking for today's Blogging A to Z entry, C is for Clinton, Carson, and Cop Killer, don't freak!  You've come to the right place, you just need to scroll down a little further.

But, hey!  Since you're already here, don't run off.  Check out my list for today's Tuesday Topic, hosted by Jenn over at Quirky Pickings - Nine Sports Stories: Baseball.

Although I don't consider myself a baseball fan, I have been a long time fan of the Chicago Cubs.  I must admit, there is something very quaint and Americana about baseball, the idea of sitting at a ball park, eating a hotdog, watching the boys of summer.  I feel similarly about some baseball movies.

So, without further ado, here are my top nine baseball movies.

9) The Natural (1984)

8) Brewster's Millions

7) Moneyball

6) Trouble with the Curve

5) The Sandlot

4) The Rookie

3) Major League

2) A League of Their Own (1992)

1) Bull Durham (1988)

I didn't discover Bull Durham until 2002, when I just happened to catch it on tv one evening.  It has become one of my "go-to" movies, a movie that I will watch every time I find it on tv.

Do you have a favorite baseball movie?  Feel free to share if you do.  As always, thanks for stopping by!
