Welcome to my '92 Time Capsule, where I unearth artifacts and memories from a quarter century ago in alphabetical order everyday (excluding Sundays, with the exception of the 30th) during the month of April.
Today's letter is T, so here we go...
In October, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Atlanta Braves to win the World Series 4-2. It was the first World Series that had games played outside of the United States.

While working on this piece, I had a hard time remembering the TV shows that I watched back in 1992. After some time, it occurred to me why. The first half of the year, I was still living at home and was more than likely watching MTV or VH1, back when they actually played music videos. The latter half of the year, I was in college and didn't have time to watch TV...
What was your favorite TV show of 1992? As always, thanks for stopping by!
I was finishing up college and getting my first job in 1992, so I didn't watch much TV. I loved Melrose Place--was that 1992? I did have a jacket similar to the one Candice Bergen is wearing in that picture, though!
ReplyDeleteI remember Melrose Place because it made me think of 90201. I think it was out in '92, but I'm not sure. I didn't get FOX and I think that was the channel that 90201 and Melrose Place came on. I had several friends in college who were really into MP, but I never watched it.
DeleteOh, the jacket! With shoulder pads!
I've seen coach but not when it's aired, it seems like a good show. never heard of room for two; major dad- that was fun. I think I watch a lot of murder she wrote but all I can remember is how silly the character can be; full house- too sappy sweet for me; designing women- that was kind of refreshing to see women being bosses; cheers- yep, seen that, and home improvement as well, murphy brown and roseanne -yep, though I haven't watched 60 minutes, guess I wasn't into news shows. I guess my brain was fried because I can't remember much of any of these shows and apparently I watched way too much tv...
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.

I saw a little bit of Coach in reruns, but have never seen a single episode of Major Dad. Watched Full House, again, I think in reruns, as well as Roseanne, and Home Improvement. Have saw a single episode of Murphy Brown, either. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWatched a lot of cheers and home improvement favorite 2 back then
ReplyDeleteI watched Cheers off and on during it's hayday; didn't watch Home Improvement much except in reruns. Thanks for stopping by!
